Minister of State for Public Sector Development Badria Al-Balbisi will open the first workshop on Monday, focusing on government services and procedures, as well as data and emerging technologies. The second session, scheduled for Tuesday, will address “Governance and Regulatory Environment, Human Resources and Leadership, and Institutional Culture.” The workshops will conclude on Wednesday with a session on “Policies and Legislation, and Spending Efficiency.”

The Prime Ministry had previously held seven dialogue sessions in preparation for the second executive program, in addition to a series of interactive meetings with secretaries-general and directors-general in ministries and government institutions to discuss their recommendations and proposals, ensuring alignment between the initiatives and objectives included in the new executive program.

The Public Sector Modernization Roadmap, launched in 2022 and extending over ten years, consists of seven main components: government services and procedures, governance and regulatory environment, policies and legislation, human resources and leadership, institutional culture, data and emerging technologies, and spending efficiency. The roadmap aims to create an effective and enabling public sector.
