AMMAN — Four departments in the Faculty of Foreign Languages
of the
University of Jordan (UJ) have recently obtained international
accreditation from the global Evalag accreditation agency.

Dr. Abdel Rahman Mitib Altakhaineh, assistant dean for
quality assurance and international accreditation at UJ, says this is a
"significant achievement for the
Faculty of Foreign Languages and marks a
historical milestone for the faculty."
He added that the accreditation also acknowledges the
tremendous efforts made by its members and staff to enhance the
quality of education and learning, under the current dean of the Faculty Professor Nahed
Emaish.
Global standardsDr Altakhaineh pointed out his application for accreditation
involved a long comprehensive evaluation process that involved in-depth
assessments and improvements of the faculty's structure, academic programs,
teaching and academic services, alongside the development of future plans, and
evaluation of satisfaction levels among students, faculty members, and
employers.
