The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff receives a delegation of members of executive committees in the US Congress

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, received on Thursday at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, a delegation of members of the executive committees of the US Congress.اضافة اعلان

Major General Al-Hunaiti discussed with the delegation, in the presence of a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces, aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to develop and enhance them in various military and defense fields, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.

During the visit, the delegation listened to a number of military briefings that addressed the nature of the tasks and duties carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces, their efforts in maintaining the security and stability of the Kingdom, and their role in supporting security and stability in the region.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff appreciated the continuous support and attention received by the Jordanian Armed Forces from the US side in various military and defense fields, pointing out the need to continue developing cooperation relations to serve the interests of the two friendly countries.

For their part, the members of the delegation praised the efforts made by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, in consolidating the pillars of security and stability in the region, stressing the importance of the role played by the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and the level of cooperation between the two friendly countries.
