The third suspect was later located and raided. During the operation, he fired again at the team, injuring a second lieutenant. Engagement rules were applied, resulting in the suspect being injured and captured.
Both injured security officers were treated in hospital, and the suspect was also hospitalized. Authorities recovered three firearms used by the suspects.
Initial investigations revealed that all three suspects had prior criminal records, including drug-related offenses, theft, and illegal weapons possession. The vehicle in their possession had been taken from a citizen who was refused its return. Investigations are ongoing.
