Safadi, Fayez pledge close House-Senate cooperation

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez and Lower House Speaker Ahmed Safadi stressed the importance of joint cooperation of the Parliament’s two chambers in order to contribute to realizing national projects directed by His Majesty King Abdullah at the inauguration of the Parliament’s second ordinary session.اضافة اعلان

The two officials said on Wednesday that the content of the Speech from the Throne constitutes “a roadmap for Jordan’s national priorities in the next stage”.

Both said the King’s speech places “great” responsibilities on Jordanian authorities, a situation that requires cooperation to achieve “complementary” action, taking into account the principle of the “flexible” separation of powers established by the Constitution.
