The events were held at Prince Hashem Bird Garden and included a short tour on the walking track to highlight the importance of physical exercise in improving physical and mental health, according to the Jordan News Agency Petra.

The events also included creating graffiti art to indicate society’s role in supporting people with mental illnesses and to eliminate the bias and stereotyping against them, in addition to presenting the awareness society’s  mental health programs, including the “Sukoun” Podcast, and the “Friendship Bench” platform, and the school mental health program.

This step came in line with the need to control mental illnesses, including post-COVID-19 depression and anxiety, since these illnesses affect the health status around the world.

The Royal Health Awareness Society is an initiative by Queen Rania Rania Al Abdullah, which aims at enhancing health awareness and empowering the local community to follow positive health protocols.
