Public sector bodies in violation of defense orders— Audit Bureau

AMMAN — The Audit Bureau issued a summary of an official report showing that 2,336 violations of COVID-19 instructions were recorded in government departments and public institutions; 357 employees did not abide by health measures, like wearing masks and social distancing; and 1,148 violated defense orders 32 and 49, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

The oversight report, which was presented by President of the Audit Bureau Assem Haddad to Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh, indicates the extent of commitment to preventative measures stated in defense orders 26, 32, 35 for 2021.

The National Center for Security and Crisis Management said that among the violations were failure to provide hand sanitizer and the continued use of fingerprint devices in the workplace.

A total of 28 departments failed to comply with government health mandates between January 12, 2021 and January 6, 2022.

Among the violators were the ministries of local administration, agriculture, health, finance, public works, and labor; the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission; the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority; the University of Jordan; the Development and Employment Fund; the Agricultural Credit Corporation; and the Greater Amman Municipality.
