The Public Security Directorate (PSD) mourns the martyrdom of First Lieutenant Murad Masoud Al-Mawajdeh, Sergeant Khaldun Ahmed Al-Raqab, and Corporal Subhi Muhammad Dwaikat from the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND), who fell during a raid on a dangerous wanted individual east of the capital.

The PSD media spokesperson stated that an enforcement force from the Anti-Narcotics Department conducted a security raid this morning targeting a dangerous individual wanted for drug-related crimes in areas east of the capital. Upon the force's arrival, the suspect immediately opened fire directly at them, resulting in the martyrdom of the aforementioned officers and the injury of a fourth non-commissioned officer, who was evacuated to the hospital and is currently undergoing treatment.
The spokesperson confirmed that the force returned fire, managed to neutralize the threat, and apprehended the suspect. Three firearms were seized in his possession, along with a quantity of narcotic pills, three slabs of hashish, and amounts of crystal meth and marijuana.
The Public Security Directorate, while mourning the three martyrs of the nation, prays for God’s mercy upon them and grants their families and colleagues patience and solace, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured officer. The Directorate reaffirms its unwavering commitment to fulfilling its duty in maintaining security and public order, and pursuing anyone who attempts to undermine it or spread, trade, and promote these toxins within society—sacrificing all that is precious for this cause.
