Private firm secures JD70m for solar power project

AMMAN — Future Sun Renewable Energy Systems and Safwa Islamic Bank on Sunday finalized a loan agreement in which the bank will provide Future Sun with JD70 million to fund a 100-megawatt solar power project aimed at industrial enterprises, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

Over the course the 18-month project, Future Sun will source and install solar power systems for 84 industrial enterprises that are Future Sun shareholders.

The project is expected to cut electricity costs by JD15 million and each beneficiary will have a solar system with a maximum capacity of 2 megawatts.
