Mafraq youth centers mark Kingdom’s centenary

MAFRAQ — Youth centers in Mafraq celebrated the Kingdom’s centenary by lighting a hundred candles on Sunday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Head of the Mafraq Youth Directorate, Omar Al-Ghwerie said that the Rihab youth center conducted a workshop titled “The centenary of the Jordanian state and the Hashemite achievements”. Ghwerie referred to the sacrifices made by Jordan on many Arab issues, especially its support of the Palestinian cause. He said that the workshop included painting a mural about the centenary of the Jordanian state. He pointed to the ongoing activities of the refugee protection program among host communities that’s continuing  in Mafraq at the Sama Al-Sarhan and the Shabat Al-Manshya youth centers.
