Jordan records 13 COVID deaths on Tuesday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 867 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, in addition to 13 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,411 and the caseload to 797,126.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Tuesday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 426 cases, while Zarqa recorded 130 cases.
Irbid registered 97 cases, while Balqa recorded 29 cases.
Karak recorded 18, Jerash recorded 13 cases, and Tafileh recorded 35.
Madaba registered 9 cases, Aqaba 47, and Ajloun 20.
Mafraq registered 19 new cases.
Ramtha recorded 6 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 62 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 68 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 11,429 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.35 percent of the 25,873 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
