1,098 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 1,098 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, in addition to 15 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,398 and the caseload to 796,259.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Monday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 458 cases, while Zarqa recorded 147 cases.
Irbid registered 139 cases, while Balqa recorded 64 cases.
Karak recorded 39, Jerash recorded 21 cases, and Tafileh recorded 52.
Madaba registered 24 cases, Aqaba 37, and Ajloun 21.
Mafraq registered 45 new cases.
Ramtha recorded 23 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 71 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 80 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 11,628 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.51 percent of the 31,259 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
