Jordan records 15 COVID deaths on Sunday

AMMAN  — The number of COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday reached 811, while 15 deaths were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,383 and the caseload to 795,161.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Sunday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 400 cases, while Zarqa recorded 94 cases.
Irbid registered 57 cases, while Balqa recorded 32 cases.
Karak recorded 23, Jerash recorded 32 cases, and Tafileh recorded 48.
Madaba registered 14 cases, Aqaba 28, and Ajloun 21.
Mafraq registered 23 new cases.
Ramtha recorded 0 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 64 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 75 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 11,713 according to the Ministry of Health.
Around 2.90 percent of the 28,008 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
