AMMAN — The General Command of the
Jordan Armed Forces — Arab Army mourned the death of Ahmed Salem Ahmed
Al-Mashaqbeh on Tuesday.
Mashaqbeh was in Egypt to take part in the Bright Star
exercise and passed away on Monday, due to a sharp drop in blood circulation
and a respiratory failure, according to officials.
An official military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces —
Arab Army stated that the exercises are scheduled to begin next Thursday, with
the participation of a number of other countries.
The source explained that a funeral will be carried out after the deceased’s
body is brought back to Jordan, according to Al-Ghad.
