Youth center seeks inclusivity for persons with disabilities

AMMAN — Basira Youth Center in Tafileh on Sunday launched an initiative that seeks to include persons with disabilities by encouraging them to participate in the center's educational and recreational activities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

The initiative, "Hand in hand to include persons with disabilities in youth center activities" is aimed at improving and developing the skills of persons with disabilities by offering them physical, educational, and recreational activities within the center, the center's director, Ibrahim Rfou, said.

Rfou highlighted that the center would work to raise awareness of persons with disabilities within the governorate and to change how able-bodied children view disability, Petra reported.
