King receives US Congress delegation

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received a US Congress delegation headed by Chairman of the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee Representative Ken Calvert, according to a Royal Court statement.اضافة اعلان

The meeting covered the deep-rooted strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States and means to bolster it, with King Abdullah expressing appreciation for the US support for the Kingdom.

Discussions at the meeting, attended by HRH Hussein, also covered the latest regional and international developments.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan, and US Ambassador to Jordan Henry Wooster attended the meeting.
