Jordanian companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange recorded a 14.3% increase in capital profits, while daily trading volume rose to JOD 13.5 million, ASE Chief Executive Officer Mazen Al-Wazifi said Tuesday.اضافة اعلان

Speaking at a press conference, Al-Wazifi said the Amman Stock Exchange index rose 45% over the past year, while the market has continued to record positive indicators during the current year.

He said the stock exchange’s positive performance coincides with the upward trajectory of the national economy, noting that the government’s economic, reform and structural policies have contributed to strengthening the investment environment on the Amman Stock Exchange.

Al-Wazifi said Jordan enjoys financial, monetary and political stability, which he said supports confidence in the market and enhances its attractiveness to investors.

He added that the Amman Stock Exchange will continue implementing development projects, stressing that the modernization process remains ongoing to keep pace with developments and standards applied locally and internationally.

The Amman Stock Exchange received the 2025 annual award from the Arab Federation of Exchanges for the best-performing Arab stock exchange in terms of price-index growth, after its index rose 45% over the previous year.

The exchange has recently upgraded its trading, disclosure and electronic monitoring systems. Government measures have also included reducing trading costs, extending trading hours and exempting mutual investment funds from income tax.
