King receives UK defense official

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received UK Chief of Defense Staff’s Senior Adviser to the Middle East and North Africa Air Marshal Martin Sampson.اضافة اعلان

Discussions at the meeting covered the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United Kingdom, and means to boost defense cooperation, as well as regional and international efforts to counter terrorism, a Royal Court statement said.

The meeting addressed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.

King Abdullah congratulated Air Marshal Sampson on his new position.

For his part, Air Marshal Sampson expressed best wishes to His Majesty on the occasion of the centennial of the Jordanian state.
