King Warns Current Developments Must Not Be Used as a Pretext to Impose a New Palestinian Reality

His Majesty King Abdullah II stressed the need to intensify international efforts to reach a comprehensive de-escalation that would restore stability to the region, during a phone call he received on Friday from Colombian President Gustavo Petro.

His Majesty condemned the attacks that targeted Jordan and other countries in the region, emphasizing that the Kingdom will continue to take the necessary measures to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens.

The King also warned that the current developments must not be used as a pretext to impose a new reality in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza.
