Jordanian woman kidnapped in Libya — ministry

AMMAN — Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dhaifallah Al-Fayez, told media on Wednesday that the ministry has received information about a Jordanian woman kidnapped and assaulted in Libya.اضافة اعلان

According to local media, Fayez stated that the ministry is in contact with the Libyan authorities and the Libyan embassy in Amman about the incident. He added that Libyan authorities have assured him that the young woman is safe, and that the ministry is trying to get in contact with her.

A video purportedly showing the woman has been circulated on social media.
