The medical staff of the Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/8 arrived in the mission area on Wednesday to carry out their humanitarian duty of providing medical care, relief, and alleviating human suffering in the Gaza Strip. The deployment comes as part of Jordan’s ongoing humanitarian and medical efforts, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, in support of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in Gaza.اضافة اعلان

Upon arrival, the medical and administrative teams immediately began implementing necessary procedures, preparing clinics and medical facilities, and activating operational plans to receive patients in the coming days. These efforts aim to ensure the delivery of medical services with high efficiency, precision, and professionalism, in line with the highest humanitarian and relief standards.

The hospital’s medical and administrative staff include specialists in various fields such as general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, general medicine, anesthesia and intensive care, dermatology, vascular surgery, pediatric and neonatal surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, maxillofacial surgery, and neurosurgery, in addition to a mobile prosthetics support unit, enhancing the hospital’s ability to handle diverse and advanced medical emergencies.

During its tenure, the Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/7 treated 61,763 patients, performed 2,994 major and minor surgeries, and provided 105 upper and lower prosthetic limbs, bringing the total number of prosthetics fitted under the “Restoring Hope” initiative to 637.

It is noteworthy that the medical teams of the Jordanian Field Hospitals in both northern and southern Gaza returned to the Kingdom on Wednesday evening after successfully completing their medical and humanitarian missions. They were received by the Commander of the 3rd Field Air Defense Brigade and the Commandant of the Royal Armored Corps School.
