Jordan records 723 new COVID-19 cases today

AMMAN — The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Monday reached 10, according to the Ministry of Health, while a total of 723 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Monday, bringing the death toll to 9,462 and the caseload to 736,534.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Monday’s tally, the ministry said:

353 in Amman
90 in Zarqa 
98 in Irbid
15 in Karak
24 in Tafileh
29 in Mafraq
33 in Balqa
24 in Aqaba
11 in Maan
10 in Jerash
10 in Ajloun

The ministry added in a statement that some 103 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 78 others were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 11,276, according to the ministry’s statement.

Around 1.4 percent of the 27,847 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
