Jordan issues arrest warrant for consul convicted of fraud

AMMAN — Jordanian authorities issued a warrant for arresting an honorary consul, representing a country in the western part of South America, who was convicted of fraud and embezzlement, Khaberni News reported. It said the convict, who is at large and was sentenced in absentia, received a prison term of one year and a fine of JD500.
