Jordan deals with 500 case of cybersecurity

AMMAN — Jordan’s National Center for Cyber Security (NCSC) has dealt with 500 cybersecurity cases of various types since the beginning of 2022, NCSC Director Bassam Al-Maharmeh was quoted as saying by Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

Maharmeh said Monday that some of the cases the center dealt with concerned the national security.

On Monday, the Central Bank of Jordan  and NCSC signed an agreement to enhance the exchange of expertise and protect information exchange systems.

Cyber security in Jordan is defined by law as measures taken to protect systems, networks, information, and critical infrastructure from cyber security breaches.
