Speaking on Saturday, Al-Hyayasat said the marking process began on the first day of the examination period. He explained that answer sheets scanned electronically undergo more than 12 verification stages, while handwritten exam booklets are marked at 38 marking centers by approximately 9,000 graders and pass through more than 27 stages of marking and review to ensure accuracy.

He added that more than half of the examination subjects have already been marked, while verification and cross-checking procedures continue ahead of the official release of the results. He noted that compiling and finalizing the results typically takes around one month after the final examination.

The Ministry of Education concluded the 2026 Tawjihi examination session on Saturday. On the final day, approximately 74,000 students sat for the Life Sciences exam, while around 34,000 students took the Islamic Education exam.

Al-Hyayasat said the current examination session recorded a significant decline in violations, with around 250 cases, compared with approximately 400 during the previous session. He described the decrease as an indication of improved discipline and greater compliance with examination regulations.

He also announced that Grade 11 students will begin the first part of the General Secondary Examination next Thursday, sitting exams in Arabic Language, English Language, History of Jordan, and Islamic Education. Around 133,000 students are expected to participate, with the examinations scheduled to conclude on 30 July.
