According to the Ministry, academic stream students (born in 2008) are taking the Advanced English exam at 10:00 AM.
The Ministry had urged students to arrive at the exam hall at least half an hour before the start, bring personal identification, and refrain from bringing any electronic devices into the halls or tampering with the answer booklet.
It noted that a pen, three pencils, an eraser, and a pencil sharpener are provided, advising students not to bring these items themselves.
The Ministry emphasized the importance of ensuring that names and seating numbers are written in the designated spaces on the question sheet, the optical mark recognition (OMR) sheet, and the answer booklet. It also advised students to read the note at the beginning of the exam paper—which includes the number of questions and pages—before starting. Furthermore, they must shade the OMR sheet exclusively with a pencil, answer multiple-choice questions with a pencil on the OMR sheet, and answer essay questions with a pen in the answer booklet.
Students were also urged to keep track of the remaining time and ensure all answers are completely shaded on the OMR sheet. The Ministry pointed out that leaving the exam room is only permitted after the scheduled time ends and after handing in the question sheet, the OMR sheet, and the answer booklet.
