JHCO, Caritas sign cooperation agreement

AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and Caritas Jordan signed an understanding and cooperation agreement to implement relief and humanitarian projects to serve the local community and refugees in Jordan, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Al-Shibli said the partnership with Caritas Jordan is a long-term one, noting that the agreement will renew, frame and unify the efforts made in the humanitarian service sector. Caritas Jordan Director General Wael Suleiman stressed the importance of continuing to support humanitarian efforts to stand by the needy and the marginalized, especially during disasters and humanitarian crises. He underlined that the humanitarian role that his charitable organization plays is an integral part of its mission and national duty, lauding the ongoing partnership with the JHCO. JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Al-Shibli said the partnership with Caritas Jordan is a long-term one, noting that the agreement will renew, frame and unify the efforts made in the humanitarian service sector.

Caritas Jordan Director General Wael Suleiman stressed the importance of continuing to support humanitarian efforts to stand by the needy and the marginalized, especially during disasters and humanitarian crises.
