Irbid prepares for throng of holiday shoppers

AMMAN — Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Atoum on Friday said that health inspections will be intensified during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.اضافة اعلان

The governor told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that there is no room for complacency, referring to the pandemic, and that agencies had developed plans to step up inspections in Irbid.  

He added that traffic police, detectives, patrols will work to facilitate traffic, while providing a safe and comfortable shopping environment in Irbid’s markets, which is a destination residents of neighboring governorates as well as Irbid.


The governor also told Petra that some roads would be temporarily closed to vehicles, including the city’s commercial center, to prepare for holiday shoppers.
