The guide focuses on five sectors for growth: ICT, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, tourism, and mega-projects.

‘Unique set of advantages’
During her welcoming remarks at the launch, Ambassador of Ireland to Jordan Marianne Bolger said: “In the few months I have been living in Jordan, I came across many positive aspects of doing business in Jordan and believe Jordan can offer a unique set of advantages that we wish to share with the Irish investor through this guide”.
“It is really encouraging to see the growth of the bilateral trading relationship between Jordan and Ireland and the future opportunities that are available for Irish business to expand in this part of region.”
Minister of Investment Kholoud Saqqaf affirmed availability of multiple competitive privileges that “make the Kingdom an attractive and incubating investment environment for businesspeople, including investors from Ireland”.

Enhancing Irish engagement in Jordan
Irish Minister of State for Justice and Youth, James Browne, noted the importance of growing Ireland’s engagement in Jordan.

“It is really encouraging to see the growth of the bilateral trading relationship between Jordan and Ireland and the future opportunities that are available for Irish business to expand in this part of region,” he said.
