Interior Ministry Clarifies Video of Individual Claiming Ability to Issue National Identification Numbers

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Abdul Karim Abu Dalou, clarified details regarding a video circulating on social media showing an individual attempting to defraud people by claiming he can issue national identification numbers in exchange for money. Dr. Abu Dalou stated that this video is old, having been published outside the Kingdom in December 2024. A warrant was subsequently issued for the individual on December 22, 2024.اضافة اعلان

The spokesperson confirmed that the individual in question has been arrested and referred to the Amman Public Prosecutor for legal action. The suspect, who has a prior criminal record, is currently detained at the Muwaqqar Correctional and Rehabilitation Center.
