The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (IACC) summoned Member of Parliament Mustafa Al-Amawi yesterday morning, Tuesday, to provide his testimony regarding statements circulated by media outlets and social media platforms. The summon concerns his claims of corrupt practices committed by fellow MPs with the knowledge or assistance of former governments and ministers.

An official source at the Commission stated that the hearing lasted for more than three hours to verify his claims of possessing documents proving these allegations—documents which, given his position as a member of parliament, he could have provided to the Commission or relevant authorities earlier.
The source added that the Commission has granted him until today, Wednesday, to present the documents he referenced during his statements regarding these alleged practices.
