AMMAN — After completing the tasks
assigned to it in earthquake-affected areas in Turkey and Syria, Jordan’s International Search and Rescue Team returned to the Kingdom on Monday, Hala News quoted the
Foreign Ministry as saying.
Last Tuesday, in coordination with the
Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army, the search and rescue team was dispatched to
the scene of the natural disaster.
The team includes 99 specialized rescue personnel and five doctors from the Royal Medical Services, and is considered
one of the best rescue teams on the regional and global levels, according to
international classifications.
