Global gasoline prices rise in 1st week of November — Energy Ministry

AMMAN — The price of gasoline in the global market has risen in the first week of November, while the price of diesel and kerosene have dropped, according to data released on Tuesday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

Ministry figures showed that the price of 90-octane gasoline went up by 3.8 percent, rising from $774.9 per tonne in October, to $804.6 in November.

The price of 95-octane gasoline also rose from $810.5 per tonne to $852.7, a 5.2-percent increase.

But diesel prices dropped by 3.6 percent, going from $1,048 per tonne to $1,009.9, while the price of kerosene fell by 0.6 percent, from $1,030.2 to $1,023.5 per tonne.

The prices of liquefied gas for November rose to $610 per tonne, compared with $567.5 in October.

The Benchmark Brent crude prices also rose in the first week of November, from $93.4 to $96.6 per barrel.
