Gag order issued over Prince Hamzah-related developments

AMMAN — Amman Attorney General Hassan Abdallat issued Tuesday morning a gag order banning the publication of all news or media materials related to HRH Prince Hamzah and others, as an investigation into the case is underway.اضافة اعلان

In remarks to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the attorney general said that the order was meant to protect the confidentiality of the ongoing probe.

“The gag order will remain valid until further notice,” the official told Petra, adding that the ban covers all types of media, including social media. He explained that circulating videos or photos related to the issue is prohibited and subject to legal action.
