Friday prayer to resume as of April 23

AMMAN — The faithful will be allowed to move on foot to perform the next Friday prayer, starting the 23rd of this month. They will observe safety guidelines and health measures in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, a source told Al-Ghad daily.اضافة اعلان

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the paper that on Thursday morning of every week, religious authorities will specify the duration for performing the Friday prayer for the following day.

Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Muhammad Al-Khalayleh, has said this week in press remarks that a decision related to Friday prayers was imminent.
