Finance committee refers files to Anti-Corruption Commission

AMMAN — The Lower House Finance Committee on Sunday followed up on the violations committed by the Ministry of Local Administration, Municipalities, and Service Councils, as shown in the Audit Bureau report for the years 2018-2020, according to Al Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

Head of the Lower House Finance Committee Mohammad Al-Saudi said that the committee examined all the violations, in the presence of Secretary-General of the Audit Bureau Ibrahim Al-Majali and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Local Administration Hussein Mhaidat, and recommended that a number of files be referred to the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission.

It also recommended the formation of a permanent joint committee, made up of members of the Audit Bureau and the Ministry of Local Administration, to assess the violations and the decisions taken before submitting them to the Lower House Finance Committee.
