He continued by emphasizing Jordan's firm stance on the matter, declaring that any attempt to displace Palestinians from the West Bank would be regarded as a declaration of war, Al Ghad reported.

Safadi explained that Jordan is tirelessly working to bring an end to the escalating conflict in Gaza. He stressed the importance of the world hearing Jordan's perspective on key issues, as conveyed by the efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah.

Furthermore, Safadi underlined that there is no justification for the ongoing war, branding it as a war crime under international law, the Geneva Conventions, and their associated protocols. He asserted that what is happening constitutes collective punishment, a practice rejected by international law, and Jordan stands firmly against it.

He concluded by stating that any attempt to displace Palestinians from their homeland represents a red line for Jordan. The country will use all available means to counter such actions, as they violate international law, particularly the Geneva Convention and its 1977 Additional Protocol, which explicitly defines the displacement of citizens from their country as a war crime.

The Protocol also clarifies that the displacement of citizens from one occupied area to another is likewise a war crime. In accordance with international law, Gaza is recognized as an occupied territory.
