The Ministry of Public Works and Housing is completing the necessary preparations to implement traffic modifications at the junction of Nalchik Street and King Abdullah II Street for vehicles traveling from the Al-Dhuheir area toward the Great Arab Revolt Square.

The Ministry explained that the works include installing a new traffic light at the intersection of King Abdullah II Street and Nalchik Street. This will allow vehicles coming from Nalchik Street (Al-Dhuheir area) to turn left onto King Abdullah II Street toward the Great Arab Revolt Square.
The Ministry noted that this measure comes in response to high traffic volumes along this corridor, where drivers currently have to navigate side streets inside the Bayader Industrial Area to reach the Great Arab Revolt Square—causing traffic disruptions and increasing conflict points across various traffic movements.
It added that the new traffic light will operate on two phases:
Phase 1: For traffic flow on King Abdullah II Street in both directions toward the Great Arab Revolt Square.
Phase 2: For vehicles coming from Nalchik Street turning toward the Great Arab Revolt Square.
The Ministry of Public Works and Housing called on citizens and road users to exercise caution, adhere to warning and directional signage, and follow the instructions of public safety personnel at the work site to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow.
