AMMAN — The Greater Karak Municipality launched a digital safety project for female council members, community activists, and organizations in southern governorates, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Mayor Mohammed Al-Maaitah said the project will spread social awareness among women and protect them from cyber violence. He said the project is implemented in collaboration with the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives.
