Al-Najdawi revealed that the number of institutions and entities whose data were audited over the past two months reached 15, noting that a total of 22 violations were documented against these entities. He confirmed that the team took the necessary measures to address the violations identified.

He pointed out that several violations were recorded in four municipalities prior to the dissolution of their councils: New Umm Al-Basateen, Umm Al-Rasas, Al-Qatraneh, and New Ramtha. These violations included the disbursement of financial amounts, allowances, and bonuses without justification, clear breaches in disbursement procedures, discrepancies between due and actual revenues, and the misuse of government vehicles, among other irregularities.

Al-Najdawi further disclosed a violation in New Ramtha Municipality involving the appointment of eight non-Jordanian sanitation workers without obtaining proper approvals, in addition to paying them salaries and financial amounts despite their being outside the country. He stressed that corrective measures were taken regarding this matter.

He also noted that the team discussed files related to certain public universities, highlighting violations such as one university assigning government employees to teach during their official working hours, contrary to the approvals granted, which stipulated teaching outside official hours.

Al-Najdawi affirmed that the team will continue its work to correct violations on a regular basis, emphasizing the government’s commitment to addressing issues promptly to prevent their accumulation, while also enhancing preventive oversight measures and governance in institutions and reducing violations as much as possible.
