AMMAN — In continuation of the humanitarian and medical efforts carried out by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to support the resilience of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the crews of the Jordan Field Hospital South Gaza/11 arrived at their duty station on Tuesday. The team is set to carry out its humanitarian mission of providing healthcare and relief to alleviate human suffering in the enclave.

Upon arrival, medical and administrative teams immediately began making necessary preparations, equipping clinics and medical facilities, and activating operational plans to start receiving patients in the coming days, ensuring the delivery of high-efficiency, professional medical services according to the highest humanitarian standards.
The hospital features a specialized medical and administrative staff covering a wide range of fields, including general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, general practice, anesthesiology and intensive care, dermatology, vascular surgery, pediatric and neonatal surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, maxillofacial surgery, and neurosurgery. Additionally, it is equipped with a mobile prosthetic support unit, enhancing its capacity to handle various emergency and advanced medical cases.
During its deployment, the outgoing Jordan Field Hospital South Gaza/10 treated 35,000 patients, performed 668 major and minor surgical procedures, and assisted in fitting 214 upper and lower prosthetic limbs.
The personnel of Jordan Field Hospital South Gaza/10 returned to the Kingdom on Wednesday after successfully completing their medical and humanitarian missions. They were received upon arrival by the Head of the Social Support Department at the Directorate of Personnel Affairs.
