AMMAN — Residents of Ajloun governorate, particularly those living in high areas, have complained of poor water supply, due to short supply duration and low pumping pressure, in light of rising demand and higher temperatures.اضافة اعلان

Residents of Kufranjeh, Ain Janna, and Anjarah have asked the water authority to extend supply hours sufficiently to fill up their tanks, and repair old water networks that are causing water loss.

The head of the governorate council, Omar Al-Momani, said that the council gives priority to the water sector in the budget, in light of the water network’s need for maintenance, which is affecting water supply, noting that some JD7 million have been allocated for new water networks and sewage systems.
