The Jordanian Minister of Water and Irrigation, Engineer Raed Abu Al-Saoud, has issued an official decree ordering the lifting of seizures on the salaries and funds of all subscribers with outstanding prior financial debts to the water sector.

The decision encompasses all subscribers who were previously subjected to precautionary seizures due to accumulated water bills.
The decree comes into effect from its date of issuance and will remain active until further notice.
Immediate implementation of the decision has taken place, and Jordanian banks have officially begun applying it and lifting the seizures upon receiving the circular.
This decision aims to take into account the economic conditions of citizens and alleviate living burdens, particularly following public demands to halt seizures on pension and basic salaries.
