2 men sentenced for scamming citizen out of JD16,000

AMMAN — North Amman Magistrate Court, during an open session on Monday, convicted two men of being complicit for fraud in a case that saw citizens scammed out of JD16,000 in exchange for counterfeit professional licenses, according to court documents.اضافة اعلان

The two men were sentenced to one year in prison and a JD200 fine each, for being complicit in fraud.

The court also stipulated that the money be returned to the victim immediately.
