Professor Joseph explains that kefir:

Supports digestive health

Helps maintain stable blood sugar levels

Enhances overnight recovery, making it ideal for those targeting weight loss or stubborn belly fat

Unsweetened kefir has a low glycemic index, so it doesn’t trigger a sudden insulin spike like some drinks perceived as healthy—such as flavored yogurt drinks or banana smoothies, which may contain hidden sugars that impair fat burning and disrupt sleep quality.

Recent studies indicate that fermented foods like kefir can:
