Cheese and herb biscuits have a delicious savory flavor and a light, crispy texture. They are perfect to serve with tea or coffee or as an appetizer for special occasions.

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
150 g cold butter, cut into cubes
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried and chopped rosemary
½ teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon black pepper
A pinch of salt, as needed
1 tablespoon cold water
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix the flour with the thyme, rosemary, parsley, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
2. Add the cold butter and rub it into the dry ingredients until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs.
3. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix well.
4. Gradually add the cold water until a firm dough forms. Do not overmix.
5. Wrap the dough and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
6. Roll out the dough to about ½ cm thick, then cut it into your preferred shapes.
7. Place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving a little space between each piece.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden.
9. Remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool completely before serving or storing them in an airtight container.
