TotalEnergies Jordan Launches "Road Safety" Campaign to Raise Traffic Awareness Among Children in Collaboration with the Haya Cultural Center
TotalEnergies Jordan, in cooperation with the Haya Cultural Center, has launched a new awareness campaign aimed at promoting road safety awareness among children in public schools, particularly those who walk to school on a daily basis.

This initiative is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to create a safer environment for children and instill a culture of traffic rule adherence from an early age.

Launched on Monday, June 23, 2025, the campaign includes a series of interactive educational activities conducted over 15 field visits covering 10 public schools and 5 community-based institutions, with an estimated 4,000 to 5,000 children expected to benefit from the program across the Kingdom.

These activities were delivered through the TotalEnergies Mobile Library, specially equipped to provide enjoyable and purposeful educational experiences focusing on safe walking practices and proper behavior while crossing roads.

The campaign visited the following schools:

Al-Majdiyyah Mixed Basic School

Na’ir Mixed Basic School

Al-Mustanada Mixed Secondary School

Bilal Basic School

Umm Ubahrah School

Western Rajm Al-Shami School

Western Rajm School

Al-Qadisiyyah Mixed School

Community institutions included in the campaign were:

Al-Salaytah Club

Al-Rayah Club

Each visit featured a rich program including:

Interactive storytelling sessions focused on road safety

Engaging and movement-based games

A lively theatrical performance titled "Adventure in Traffic City", simulating real-life traffic scenarios in a child-friendly narrative.

Several TotalEnergies employees volunteered to participate in the campaign, adding a deeply human and meaningful dimension to the initiative.

In a statement on the occasion, TotalEnergies Jordan emphasized:

“Children’s road safety is a collective responsibility. This campaign reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and empowering future generations through awareness and education. We are proud of our partnership with the Haya Cultural Center and remain dedicated to building a safer environment for our children.”

Rim Al-Adwan, Director General of the Haya Cultural Center, highlighted the importance of the campaign organized by TotalEnergies, noting that this partnership is a successful model of collaboration between the private sector and cultural institutions for the benefit of society.

She affirmed the center’s belief in the importance of instilling safety concepts in children from a young age, adding that such interactive campaigns play a vital role in embedding these values in an enjoyable and effective way.
