ALGERIA — The People’s National Assembly (APN) expressed their rejection of the U.S. Ambassador to Algeria’s characterization of "Hamas" and other Palestinian resistance factions as “terrorists.” The U.S. Embassy reported that Ambassador Elizabeth Aubin engaged in a constructive discussion with Algerian parliamentarians regarding the situation in Gaza.اضافة اعلان

During the discussions, Algerian MPs emphasized to the U.S. Ambassador that "Hamas and Palestinian resistance factions are not terrorists." They reaffirmed the Palestinian people's right to liberation and resistance, drawing parallels to Algeria's struggle during French colonization (1830-1962), Quds Press reported.

Furthermore, the representatives criticized the direct bias of the U.S. administration towards Israel, accusing it of participating in the aggression against Gaza and Palestine.
