All personal terms have reportedly been settled.اضافة اعلان

Shobeir said on ON Sport FM radio that Al Ahly have completed all arrangements to sign Al-Naimat, with only the financial agreement with Al Arabi remaining. He noted that the club refuses to activate the release clause in the player’s contract—valued at USD 1.5 million—in order to preserve their strong relations with Qatari clubs.

Earlier, Youm7 reported that Al Ahly had begun sounding out Al Arabi regarding the purchase of Al-Naimat’s contract during the winter transfer window, after the player impressed club officials.

Al Ahly recently contacted Al-Naimat, who expressed his approval to join the Cairo giants. However, he asked the club to negotiate directly with Al Arabi and delay the final decision until his participation in the Arab Cup concludes.

Al-Naimat is currently with the Jordan national team competing in the 2025 Arab Cup, where they reached the quarterfinals from the group that also included Egypt.

Refusal to Trigger the Release Clause
Al Ahly have declined to trigger the USD 1.5 million release clause in Al-Naimat’s contract, citing their positive and longstanding relations with Arab—and especially Qatari—clubs.
