AMMAN — The Arab Basketball Federation, headed by Maj. Gen. Ismael Qarqawi, announced it would host the Arab Basketball Championship for men in Dubai on January 2022.
The championship was scheduled to take place at the end of this month in Jordan, but many teams had withdrawn for different reasons, which led the Arab Federation to decide to postpone it until the beginning of next year.
The federation’s board had authorized the president and the treasurer to select the countries from among those that wanted to host the upcoming men and women’s championship.
